The Lord is good to all, and his mercy is over all that he has made. Psalm 145:9

Michael & I had a special date at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse last week- some of our close friends had given us a gift card for Michael's birthday, and we finally got around to using it to celebrate my birthday! It was very memorable, and the food was delicious. Yes, Emma is crawling. Or something like that. She looks so funny because she sticks her rumpus in the air and drags one leg along as she scoots forward. It's amazing how fast she has gotten just over the past 3 days. My house is no longer safe. And the chase to catch Jack and his little nubby tail has begun. Emma was very tired yesterday when I put her down for her nap- she didn't want to sleep though. After crying for a while, she finally quieted down. I went into her nursery to check on her and this is how I found her sleeping! She had been sitting up, crying and facing the door hoping that mommy or daddy would appear and I think she wore herself out and just "folded" over her legs. As cute as it was, it looked so uncomfortable to be sleeping in that position. So I put her on her tummy after I took the picture, and- of course- she woke up when I moved her. And cried all over again when I left the nursery!

what an adorable picture. I remember my boys sleeping like that. I guess it's comfortable for them!!! I love seeing Emma grow. Thanks Nina for keeping me up to date. love, Aunt Deb
Hey Aunt Deb- For the longest time, Michael & I wondered which Aunt Deb was leaving comments since we each have an Aunt Deb :) Emma is so much fun. Wish you could see her- she is getting to be quite the speedy crawler. And she already climbed up a step completely on her own! We will be investing into some gates pretty soon! Hope you all are doing well-
