beforeA family gave us a table and chairs a few years ago- and I finally got around to refinishing them this past week (thank you Carmen & Caleb for the awesome sander!). My students have enjoyed the change, and are using the table more often- especially since there is a new Yamaha keyboard on top!

Stephanie gave Emma the cutest little jean hat. She actually has kept it on her head a few different occasions, but as you can see today is not one of those occasions . 
Here is a picture taken immediately after she yanked the hat off of her head. Since she now has just enough hair, sometimes I manage to sneak a bow on her head. But if she catches me in the process, it's just a game to see if she can reach it and pull it out.

Emma and I are flying to Boston on Saturday for a week at the Landry's. Congratulations to our sweet friends, James & Laurie on the birth of baby #5, Sarah Anne! Since James will be gone on a business trip, we will be there to help out a little, hopefully. We can't wait to meet little Sarah and see all the other kids!

Here is Daddy reading to his little girl. So precious. Newest update on Emma- she is walking, walking, walking! Everywhere! It's hilarious to watch her try to keep her balance while trying to go in circles or "run". Where is my "little baby"?!

Gorgeous chairs, Nina! Can you come to MI and do some for me??? And Emma is adorable. And look at that hair coming in!!! Isn't it funny to watch the little tykes walking around in circles??? I always get a good laugh. The other day Adrianna ran into the wall and walked away saying "ow, ow, ow, ow." :-)
