Some house pictures

I have "before" pictures, but I'm not even going to take time to post them. We painted most of the house- tore some wall paper down in the kitchen and bathroom. Several people from our church came and helped for many hours the week before we moved. Here are a few pictures of what our house looked like after some fresh paint :)
Living Room
I love the fireplace, mantle and big windows! We painted the trim and ceilings white- it brightened up the room a lot. The front door is located to the left of the big window and the side door leading to a nice screened in porch is to the right of the fireplace. We've eaten out on the porch almost every night since moving in! Emma uses the porch as an additional play area and loves running out there every afternoon when the school lets out and all the buses drive by. There are 3 good sized bedrooms in our house. We decided to put the kids in the same room that way Michael's books and my card making things are out of the reach of curious little hands. So the blue room is "our office" space

Compared to where we lived in VA Beach, our current yard is like living in a park for Emma. Part of our lot you see is off to the right of the screened in porch- Emma loves being outside running around in our new yard. Michael just bought a new riding mower from a friend from church so he can keep it looking nice. We spent almost all day Saturday outside- Michael mowed and Emma helped me water plants and flowers. Michael even planted my 17 tomato plants that I got at the farmer's stand!
We are almost completely settled in here and are loving our new home and town. Our house is located right "downtown" Windsor (although it is not on a busy main street). We are within walking distance to the park, library, high school, pharmacy (a neat little variety store that gives out free popcorn and tootsie pops to kids), the hardware store, post office and several families from our church. The most difficult adjustment has been the train. Even though it's not in our back yard, it sounds like it is. It passes through town day and night, blaring it's horn ever so loudly. We'll get used to it before too long, but it has been causing Emma to wake up throughout the night.
We've only been in our new home for a week, but our church family was soo helpful in every way to get us moved in that we don't have very much more to unpack. There are a few boxes in the office and stuff in the hall that needs to be put up in the attic (yeah for tons of storage space here!). I'll take some more current pictures once we've settled a little bit more.

Your new place looks great! And what a great little town to be living in - it sounds so much like where we live. I hope baby Elliott will hold off for a few more weeks so you can get all settled - can't wait to hear about his arrival!
