Box of Blessings

This is the closest we have gotten to snow this winter here in the south! (although we've had a couple of "no-snow-snow-days" that northerners would scoff at)
Crazy-haired Emma woke up yesterday wanting her apron on. She was in a silly mood, which she took out on Jack. Apparently Jack is camera shy these days (or maybe he is embarrassed to show his face since I've told my web friends how he has been misbehaving lately):
Our friend is a nurse at Michael's new Doctor's office and has been so helpful in the past weeks during Michael's severe flare-ups with Crohn's. Michael and I were getting ready to sit down for dinner last night and were talking about how kind she has been to be available so willingly to help- during and after office hours. A few minutes later, she unexpectedly showed up at our door and gave us this large box of Pentasa samples- one of the medications Michael is on (and expensive too). Praise the Lord for supplying 2 months worth of one of his medications for free!!

Along with getting some more great deals from Walgreens this week:
2 colgate toothpastes for .25 cents
&
1 pack of 4 razors for $1.49
since Michael recently had his prescription transferred from Target to the closer location of Walgreens, we got a $25 gift card to the store. That means all the deals I get this month from Walgreens will be FREE! (well except for Michael's medications :)
Another praise-worthy happening in the Whitcomb household: Emma has FINALLY had complete success with potty training! She wears a pull-up for napping and bedtime, but besides that she has graduated to "big panties" all day long! Yay for Emma!!
(and super-yay for not having to fund 2 in diapers!!!)

That is so exciting! Praise the Lord! Congratulations to Emma too! Hey, are you bringing a potty on the trip?--Victoria does great at holding it, but I thought I might bring one just in case unless you are already bringing one.

Yay for Emma! That is definitely exciting news, and I am thrilled to hear how God is providing for you.

Hooray! Hooray! Hooray! The Lord is so good and gracious to provide. Praise Him. I love the crazy hair. It's always so fun and interesting when little girls wake up that way(:

I am a HUGE Walgreens fan! I always cut coupons and scope the buy one get ones there first! Amazing what you can get for nothing!!!!!! Great job Nina! Don't you feel so accomplished with one on the potty!!!!!
