New Hairdoo

This morning I was on the phone when I heard Elliot fussing. As I came into the room I saw Emma standing above Elliot, his bottle in her hands- formula dripping onto his head as she shook the remaining contents out into his hair.

As I took a moment to process what she had just done to her little brother, Emma proudly exclaims:
Look Mommy! ! I gave Bubby a new hairdoo!!
(Emma's gleeful giggling ensues following exclamation)

Elliot was anything but gleeful having fallen prey to his sister's attempts to beautify him.
Notice the drips of formula on his shirt and beside his mouth. Poor little fella.

Might I just add one more story since Elliot is napping now and Emma is occupied sitting in the corner.

Ever since Michael came down with this cold virus (which had a horribly nagging harsh cough at night especially), I have been sleeping on a make shift bed right beside Emma's bed. Elliot has been sleeping in the pack-n-play in the office. Every night upon going into her room to go to bed, I have found her curled up snuggly in my bed- not where she was tucked into a few hours earlier.

Until a few nights ago.

Upon opening her door, I saw Emma sound asleep on my bed, completely unclothed.
Same thing happened yesterday during her nap- which resulted in doing another load of laundry when I had just about finished all of the laundry for the week.
Last night she did it again- thankfully I hadn't set up my bed yet since the bedding was still in the dryer. Everything was drenched. Including Emma, who had just had a bath a few hours earlier.
Now they both need baths again, I have another load of laundry going and I'm already exhausted.

It's going to be one of those days.
