I just spent a bit of time typing up an update on Michael only to decide not to post the long, detailed news of everything that has transpired over the past two months. Sparing you the details, here is an abreviated version:
Michael has been the sickest the past two months since he was diagnosed with this disease. He lost 14 pounds in August alone. After consulting with both his nutritionist and GI Doctor, he will tentatively begin Remicade treatments this coming Thursday. Please pray that this treatment will effectively put the disease in remission.
Our hearts are overwhelmed with gratefulness for our family and friends who have supported us through encouraging cards, phone calls, visits, taking care of our children, providing meals and generous gifts, and most of all~ praying.
