Easter, that is!
What would our faith profit if we don't belong to a risen Savior?!
We have such an intense desire for our children to have personal relationships with Jesus Christ and want them to be exposed to the Gospel from an early age. We know it is only by His grace that He calls His children to Himself, and that is what we plead for our children.
It is easy when holidays come to get lost in the family traditions, good food, picture taking, making memories, present giving...that the focus is shifted, and even replaced. We didn't want that to happen this Easter, so Michael and I planned something special each night for our family Bible time:
first time coloring easter eggs with the kids
the story of the last supper
had to sneak a few pics of the little E...how could we forget this cute, smiling face?!
and soo wiggly?!?
Little E trying to snitch my rice krispy....
Thanking Jesus for what He did on the cross
Concert Time: the kids LOVE doing this with Michael. They get their stools, turn the light off, Emma grabs her fake mic and they sing praise songs.
acting out Jesus entering Jerusalem:
More to COME!!

what great ideas! I am sure those will be such special memories for them and help them treasure their Savior more!
LOVE these, Nina! What a fun time, and how creative you are (as always!). I'll have to steal a few of your ideas next year. :)
Love it, Nina! Way to demonstrate that Christ is truly the most awesome Person to celebrate.
