Being a teacher that uses candy for motivation, I've made a habit of hitting the stores right after the major holidays to get the good candy at half price. I always say- "this should last us the whole year", but it never does. Well, it should last us a while, anyway!
Emma hasn't had too much candy in her lifetime, so I wasn't even sure if she would know what it was so I left it in plain sight. There were two large grocery bags of candy on the floor, and before I knew it, Emma was toddling towards me with a giant bag of sour starbursts asking "please" and saying "mmmm! MMMmmm!" at the same time. How could I resist her politeness and cuteness?! She got to have some m&m's, and thought they were pretty good. I think we have another chocoholic in the family!

What cute shoes! I haven't even thought to check at Kohl's yet. I got AJ a couple pairs at a thrift store, but I'd like to get her something good quality. Sarah's wedding is this coming weekend (10th), so I'm driving down to Indy with Andrianna for a few days. It'll be fun to see her get married. We're not planning to go to Indy for Christmas though - it just isn't working with time off. We may have our first "family" Christmas here with just us 3 - hopefully I'll get to spend time with the family sometime in Dec. or Jan.
