Emma meets baby Ezra:She is very intrigued by the "ba-by" and looks for him immediately when we visit Annie & Titus. She gets pretty concerned when he cries, and likes to hold him, touch him and giggle at his tiny toes. Emma & Titus are so funny to watch with him. We went over last night and baby Ezra was sound asleep in the stroller in the kitchen. Emma & Titus kept going over and patting his bum and saying "baby" and "Ezra"- not quietly either, but Ezra slept through it all. Emma cried when we had to leave...it's going to be soo cute to see her as a big sister! Emma is 18 months- can you believe it? She loves coloring, her pooh sticker book, talking on the phone, "shishies"(goldfish crackers)and "tinestine" (her baby einstein dvd's). We've had a rough past couple weeks with her since she had a cold, slight ear infection and is teething. She is still a joy, even through her grumpyness. Last week while shopping in Target, she reached for my hands, looked at me and closed her eyes- meaning she wanted for me to pray with her. So I did, in the middle of the aisle as people were probably passing by wondering what was going on. Emma gave a hearty "Mae-Men!" when I finished. We went on shopping and she decided she wanted to pray 3 more times after that.
Our church valentines banquet was on Saturday night. It was a nice time with church family, and the food was delicious. Unfortunately, the servers were very prompt about giving refills and Michael and I drank way too much sweet tea. Of course we didn't realize that until 3 am Sunday morning when neither of us had slept a wink yet! ooops.
Michael's disease has really flared up this past month- he has missed several days of school and work because of it. Last night was yet another difficult one and he wasn't able to go to class this morning. We made a doctor appointment and was able to be seen today- thank the Lord! He is back on medication (Pentasa), atleast until he is able to regain strength and eat semi-normally again. Thank you for praying for him!
God has proved himself to our family over and over again. We are so excited about planting a church in Moyock, NC, but sad to leave dear friends at our church in Windsor, VA. Our church, Antioch, has been so gracious and generous in so many ways. Michael recently sold his lawn business to Mark Brumbaugh. Last week our church voted to bring Michael on full time until graduation as well as take care of our health insurance until May. We are very thankful for God's provision!

I loved catching up on all your news! Emma is a darling, getting so big. I love the praying story - Adrianna loves to do that too, although she hasn't done it in the store yet. :-) And you look great, by the way. Do you feel much different with Elliott (sp?) than you did with Emma? We're thrilled to hear your plans! Are you church planting with anyone else in NC? I'm assuming you'll start there in June? We'll be praying for Michael in these last few months of school - we know they can be stressful not to mention him being sick. I think of you often and wish we were closer!
