Edible Snowmen

Emma and Elliot had a blast making & eating these snowmen today. Pretty simple way to get them excited about eating veggies and fruits! {and a good backup plan for tomorrow if we don't have REAL snow to build a snowman...}
I love Elliot's expression as he tries to figure out the apple corer.
Emma named her snowman "Frosty". She's creative, what can I say.
Elliot gobbled his snowman up in one gulp, apparently!
A picture of sharpies in the middle of this post may seem oddly placed, but they make me happy. One of my favoritest Christmas gift I got from Michael this year.
praying together...precious in God's sight!
I know. It looks like a pile of cookie dough on their plates. But it's actually a yummy & very simple dip I discovered in one of my Taste of Home magazines. {1/2 cup vanilla yogurt, 1/2 cup Peanut Butter & 14 mini Chocolate Chips (and since I only have regular sized morsels, I threw them in the food processor for a few seconds). Mix it all up and serve with fruit, pretzels, graham crackers...}
Little Elf observed all the activity somewhat contently from his swing. He's anxious to join the fun. Almost 6 months old already...and our prediction is that he will crawling around in a month.
Emma loves her magic light paintbrush set she got from a friend for Christmas. Mommy loves it too...it's mess free!
Elliot likes to do whatever Emma is doing now. He colors a little bit, but is much more entertained by throwing the crayons on the floor, exclaiming " OHHHH NOOOOO" and then picking them up. Have I mentioned that he is a little OCD????!
These after Christmas wintery cold windy sometimes wet and rainy days can become long for a stay at home mom of three 3 and under. Trying to keep a creative mind and stay away from getting into a rut with the same ole every day, day after day...and remembering that investing godliness into my children daily is eternally rewarding.
Back to the snow prediction.
A friend from my church asked me what I thought about it.
And I think: IF if If we get a lot of snow, then I will be STUCK at home.
Nothing new for me, but at least I'll have a really good excuse for not getting out of the house~
