I'm posting from home!!! Emma and I had an uneventful(thankfully) flight from Boston yesterday. Emma couldn't wait to see her Daddy- she kept shouting "dada. dada. dada.", but when we finally got home, she seemed pretty distracted by Jack. This morning as Michael was leading our choir practice, he walked to the back of the church and continued to direct as he listened to what we sounded like further away. Emma had been playing around at the front of the auditorium, but when she saw Michael, she immediately scrunched up her face with a big smile and exclaimed "Dada"! Then she followed him as he walked to the back of the church. Michael was unaware of what she was doing, but the choir was laughing just watching what was going on. Michael turned around, saw her, picked her up as he continued to conduct and Emma started to wave her arm around conducting, too! It was priceless.
These pictures were taken by Tonia Landry while we were in Boston. Almost everyone has told us that Emma looks just like her daddy, and these pictures confirm that even more!
I've been amazed at how much she has changed since beginning to walk. I'm even more amazed at how quickly the time has gone by since she was a little-bitty baby! She is truly a blessing from the Lord, and we pray that our love for her will continue to grow as we nurture her in the Lord!

Hi, Nina! What cute pictures, by the way. Yes, I'd have to say Emma is a miniature Michael. :-) How neat that you got to catch up with April! And yes, I'm hoping to go to Sarah's wedding - it's only 5 hrs. away, so I thought it'd be fun to drive down with Adriannna. We'll see though. What about you?
